All private schools and public school districts must develop and maintain an Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Management Plan for each school building.
Responsibilities include employee training, annual staff and student notifications, semi-annual and 3-Year re-inspections, contractor notifications, and documentation of all asbestos related activities including repair and removal.
